Advocate for child survivors of sex crimes, driving state and federal legislative reform, including the Child Sex Crime Victims Protection Act ("Sara’s Law”) in partnership with value and principled aligned partners. 

Coordinated legal support for incarcerated women who committed offenses as minors against their abusers, securing pathways to freedom nationally. 

Authored reports and delivered presentations to influence policy, including testimony before lawmakers and probation departments.

   Authored  Unheard: The Epidemic of Severe Childhood Trauma Among Girls Tried As Adults, exposing systemic failures for incarcerated girls.  

  Identified gaps for incarcerated child sex crime victims, read and listened to their voices and coordinated survivor support.

  Delivered talks to social service providers, criminal justice professionals, and healthcare audiences on resilience, trauma recovery, youth incarceration, and surviving sexual abuse/trafficking.  

    Presented at high-profile venues, including Utah Law, Bishop Montgomery Catholic High School, and with figures like Van Jones.

 Created and implemented transformative justice programs for incarcerated youth and adults at Central California Women’s Facility, California Institute for Women, and Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall.  

  Facilitated relationship-based healing for girls and women, using trauma-informed modalities to promote autonomy and wellness.

2016-2017

  Provided direct services to adolescent girls victimized by sex trafficking in a residential setting, addressing complex trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES).  

Supported adaptation to healthy lifestyles through individualized care and recovery planning as well as support services for child sex crime victim survivors who had to give court testimony against their trafficker.
